Huge thanks to Carolyn, and Tarrant Cross Child for scoping out the park yesterday. I’m tentatively saying we’re open, but please be conscious of wet spots. Best practice is to turn around, or cautiously go through the middle of a wet spot, please don’t widen or “braid” the trails.

Grab a map and head out for a Family Friendly Adventure Race! This event will take place at beautiful River Ridge Trails which is located along North Saskatchewan River north of Langham (20 min away from Saskatoon). ![]()

The event includes a brief introduction to orienteering and map symbols (if you are new to orienteering). Beginners are welcome!![]()

Groups will be staggered between 2 and 4pm. You will receive your start time a few days before the event. ![]()

Participation is FREE for SOA members (participants with an individual or family membership)! The registration fee for non-members is $5/person (5 and up). Guardians and younger siblings (under 5) are welcome to participate for FREE, but they need to register in the categories called accompanying guardians/accompanying sibling in order to be covered by our insurance.![]()
