Happy Earth Day

Did you know that Earth Day was originally based on Arbor Day, a day intended to replant trees? From that origin, the day evolved to a day to appreciate and preserve nature. In that way, every day is Earth Day at River Ridge Trails, where you can encounter the outdoors in so many special ways.

In honour of Earth Day, River Ridge Trail Association is announcing our first Community Clean Up Day on May 1, 2021. This is a chance to come out to the trails, take a nice walk, and pick up anything you find that the snow left behind.

Help us keep River Ridge Trails beautiful. Volunteers will receive a small kit with gloves, a trash bag, and a special gift. Your efforts will not only make a difference, but will help us make a place for outdoor adventure. See you on May 1st!
